Because Vancouver's driverless SkyTrain network is running hyper-frequent trains every 2 minutes on match days, you don't need to pay a premium to stay directly in the congested downtown core. Staying near any major station on the Expo Line or Canada Line gives you a seamless, stress-free commute directly to the match.

BURNABY & NEW WESTMINSTER
Metrotown (Burnaby): Home to BC’s largest shopping hub, this area is packed with clean, modern high-rise hotels at a fraction of downtown prices. Best of all, the Expo Line takes you from Metrotown straight to the Main Street–Science World stadium platform in exactly 15 minutes.
New Westminster Quay: A beautiful, historic riverfront district. Booking a hotel near New West Station gives you great local markets and a direct, traffic-free rail commute straight to the pitch.
RICHMOND & YVR AIRPORT
Richmond City Centre: Located just south of the city, Richmond is a world-renowned culinary destination famous for its night markets and authentic Asian dining. Hotels here line the Canada Line, which takes you directly into downtown Vancouver where you can quickly transfer to the stadium loop
DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER
Yaletown & False Creek: Sophisticated, trendy waterfront neighborhoods filled with upscale patios and boutique cocktail lounges. It is a scenic, flat 10-minute walk straight to the stadium gates, allowing you to skip the trains entirely.
The Downtown Core & Waterfront: Staying near Waterfront Station gives you access to luxury high-rises and historic Gastown architecture. From here, you can hop on the Expo Line and zip down to the match corridor in under 5 minutes.
LODGING NEAR TRANSIT
TRANSIT TO THE STADIUM
The stadium is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. If your located anywhere in the downtown area, walking is the absolute fastest and most logistically clean option. Because the city is compact, safe, and beautifully pedestrian-friendly, thousands of international supporters will be marching to the gates on foot.
If your coming from outside the immediate downtown footprint (like Richmond, Burnaby, or near the airport), Vancouver’s driverless SkyTrain network will be running trains at rush-hour frequencies every 2 to 2.5 minutes on match days.
While solo travelers will thrive on the trains, groups of 4 to 8 fans traveling together may enjoy skipping the masses by scheduling a dedicated, private passenger van, executive SUV, or local minibus. These professional fleets utilize prioritized drop-off zones along Pacific Boulevard right outside the secure perimeter, letting your group arrive together in total comfort.
